Purpose of the survey
Since 2018, the Société québécoise de la déficience intellectuelle (SQDI) has published a document outlining its policy directions and demands for improving the lives of people with intellectual disabilities and their loved ones.
This document highlights the needs and priorities of the SQDI, its members, and the entire intellectual disability community. The SQDI then uses it to engage in discussions with elected officials, different government departments, and various organizations.
A first version was produced in 2018 and updated in 2022. In preparation for the 2026 provincial elections, the SQDI is preparing a third version.
As many things have changed at the provincial and federal levels in the decisions made by the Quebec government and the Canadian government, and since new important issues have been analyzed by the SQDI, it is now necessary to update its policy directions and required actions document.
This survey focuses on the aging and the end of life of people with intellectual disabilities and allows you to:
- give your opinion on the ideas proposed by the SQDI,
- share your comments at the end of each section.
Allow approximately 15 to 20 minutes to answer all the questions.
Anyone can participate.
You can complete the survey until October 29, 11:59 p.m.
